Last time it was close to this level was October 2005 when it hit 15 feet and caused major flood damage in Cumberland and Lincoln. Highest on record was 21 feet during Hurricane Diane in 1955. Here’s the section of Blackstone just below River Island Park during the ’55 Flood - water is up to the second floor of those mills:
