Let's face it on Vindman. He was in the Infantry that is a pretty decent division for getting promotions. Most of know that getting passed over twice for a promotion in the military is a path out the exit door. So, after all of his years he is still a Lt. Colonel. One might ponder that Vindman was no ball of fire and he knew there was no promotion inn the deck for him so he sat on that Lt. Colonel position knowing that he would be passed over and out the door should he try for a promotion. In view of that perhaps he decided by following this path of providing testimony, that led to false conclusions, would vindicate him and provide a promotion for him via Congressional pressure. This was Vindamin's last chance and unfortunately for him the dice rolled and he lost. He should be demoted and have his pension denied as a minimum or at the most Court Marshaled and thrown in the brig. He lied to Congress and should be considered treasonous. On the other hand however Bill Clinton lied to Congress and nothing happened to him.
