If the Democrats insist on the new board member being from Granite City, thats fine. Im sure Mr. Prenzler can find someone from that city to fill the void. But of course, its not about that at all, but it sounded so noble, LOL... The Democrats are sinister, but they arent stupid. They know that not evryone always keeps up with what is going on all the time, and that is especially the case during the summer months.
Any honest, fair minded person should be able to see this for what it is. Its sneaky and its slimy, but that does not mean they wont be able to pull it off. Patronage jobs and out of sight pensions rate higher than flooded homes any day.
Im not saying Adler is a miracle worker, but he could have personally pushed back any and on flood waters and he would still be a target. If by some miracle Rauner fumbles his way into doing the right thing, it wont be two months before these con artists come back with another angle.
