I don't give a damn about right and left on this topic.

If you're going to keep up the 'blame the liberal media' and all the same old thing.....this topic is a little too serious to get into that game.

Real lives are being lost here and a cycle continues.....

Mass Shooting ---- 'leaders' call for thoughts and prayers ---- the people call for something concrete to be done ---- heated debates ---- nothing happens ---- another mass shooting ---- 'leaders' call for thoughts and prayers ---- the people call for something more concrete to be done....and the cycle never ends.

Something has to change --- or more people keep dying.

People who don't think like each other --- and even people that may not even like one another have to start finding some common ground.

Don't you agree that children's lives and the lives of innocent people are much more important than a petty political dispute?

Isn't that at least one step toward common ground?

People have to ask themselves --- what is more important? Why is the lives of others taking a back burner for some other kind of agenda?

I don't care about left or right in this case....dammit.....let's just try to save people from dying. So parents don't have to ever have a second thought that telling their children goodby in the morning may or may not be their last.

I know you would want that as much as I want it.

If something isn't working it has to be fixed. Keeping on as we were, with a smattering of disingenuous 'thoughts and prayers' is not going to solve the problem.
