One of the several guys that go around interviewing mostly college students on various topics was asking about Memorial Day a few days ago. One lady when asked about Memorial Day said that it was a celebration of Columbus discovering America. Another young lady said that Memorial Day was about the war between the North and South America. BTW, these two were probably two of the smarter ones that were asked. At least they didnt just shrug and say, i dont know. I always watch these segments when they are on, and even while im laughing at a lot of it, sometimes i must admit its a little embarrassing.I am not insinuating in any way that the older people know any more than these college geniuses, because im sure most of them dont.
