Funny But Maybe Not Archived Message

Okay, the post election rhetoric is in full swing. Trump people enjoying the surprise victory and rubbing it in the nose of Hillarys' followers. (Not all but some)

Hillary supporters acting as if this is the biggest trauma they've ever gone through in their lives. People literally crying over this mess.

In America we elect a President through the electoral college process. I see people who prior to the election were saying IF Trump pulled off the public vote and lost in the electoral college, they should just suck it up.

Well guess what Gertrude, the opposite happened. Now you have to suck it up. I see professional people having social network discussions that make them sound so hypocritical.

Lawyers, one doctor and of course several liberal minded educators who act as if this is the end of the world. They believe in free speech as long as you don't argue with them. If they say Trump lied and you say Hillary did too, they make excuses.

I'm sad to see so called professional educators wasting valuable classroom time allowing their students to "grieve" over this. Your job is to teach, to share your knowledge and to make sure your students understand. It is not to persuade them to your way of thinking. Chances are good that at least half of your students don't think like you do and you are taking time away from what they want to learn. Shame on you. If the university my kids attend(ed) allowed professors to cancel classes because Jimmy was just to upset to take a final, I would file a class action law suit against the university for failure to do what they are there to do.

We all know that education is leaning toward liberalism. That's a given. But in public schools, funded by tax dollars and tuition, you have to perform your duties. Do it.
