Well, I'm sure not missing paying the extra the Property Tax on my house, but I've got to say, as someone who prefers to buy new vehicles and drive them till the wheels fall off, Illinois is preferable... The "city" I live in just got more in sales tax, on a Truck I bought outside of their limits. (No new dealer in town), than they get for my house every year. And I've got to pay property tax on it, next year. The combined total is still less than it would be in Illinois, don't fret, but the 3 trips the DMV so far to get plates, I still don't have, makes me miss having plates just show up in the mail at few weeks after purchase.
