Yeah. DONUTS?! Omg.
The other day, the other half and I went to Walmart to pick up a few items.. We were waiting in line behind some well-dressed, well-fed folks.. (when I say well dressed, I am talking Ralph Lauren, Polo, etc.) Now, I am not saying that they didn't get these clothes from a second hand shop.. (although you can usually tell what's brand new and what's not.) However, the next part is what really got me...
They had two FULL carts of stuff. They whip out a Link card and then BOOM - the man pulls out a wad of cash that was as big as a baseball.
This is not the first time we've seen this. As my other half and I are not poor.. we are working middle class. I wish I had a wad of money that huge that I could carry around on top of a government issued card that would buy us groceries.
I don't know how any middle class person can afford groceries these days.. or any middle class who doesn't struggle to make ends meet. It's disgusting.
