As for being taxed to death, do you know what MO is like? Yeah, you pay lower sales tax, but at the end of every year you have to pay "personal property tax". This is a tax on your houses and vehicles. This is on top of the tax you already paid for your car. A car worth $1000, you will pay around $100 every year just for the privilege of owning the car. I think the taxes kind of cancel each other out.
