In my case, the election for certification that is going on right now, 187 employee are allowed a vote.
A simple majority of the people who acualy show up and vote can certify this union.
Our sales staff does not get to vote. Our managers do not get to vote, the man who owns the company, does not get a vote. More than half of our St.Louis employiees do no get to vote. On a mesure that could very well close the doors of our STL plant. That is not democracy. (in a true democracy, every employiee would get one vote, so would the owner)
I still do not understand how you would think it just that; should the yays have it, as a condition of my employment, I would forced to pay money to criminal enterprise. (make no mistake about it, I'm not exaggerating, this particular union has killed people they dislike)
