Our Governor says Illinois is broke and to get money he is going to squeeze it out of us. So, he is cracking down on people who buy out of state and do not pay taxes on the purchases. On the advice of a tax preparer if you have made purchases and do not have receipts or forgot then better use the table from your adjusted gross income and put an amount on line 22. Also rumors have it that Illinois might check places like Amazon or your credit card to catch you. Some say if you leave it zero on that line they might want to check you.
