My son will pay the ticket if need be...thats not the issue--the issue is this ticket is issued to me as I owned the car at the supposed time---they want me to sign the form and pay the fee admitting "I" was the person who was driving and did wrong...this in itself is agreeing and admitting to false guilt. I don't believe this is right. If they cant prove who was driving the vehicle they shouldn't be ticketing the car IMO. I recently sold the vehicle as my son got his own truck. I let many people test drive this car, without me in the car, before it was sold....how am I to know if any of the people who drove this car ran thru a red light? On the same thought, we, my son and I drove quite a few trucks with just he and I in the cab...how are those owners to know we didn't run a light while out test driving their vehicle? Too many variables when they don't know who is actually driving the vehicle....no wonder so many areas are getting rid of their traffic cameras.
