Thanks Glen. Another question. What problems would I encounter if I replace my engine with the TR6 engine. Will I be able to also use the TR6 transmission ? Thanks again
Oscar I live in a free state so don't have to deal with that stuff but I would think that setting it as lean as possible and retarding the ignition timing would lower it, and possibly lashing the valves at a wider clearance, temporarily, in order to reduce overlap, would help some as well.
You could also fix it by moving to a free state...

I had to again get a waiver (to get a waiver, I needed to prove that I have spent over $75 trying to fix it) because my GT6 emission test failed again. My HC was 200 points over. 600 was ok but mine was over 800 (too lean?) my CO passed. Good for another 2 yrs. Any ideas how else to lower these annoying crap?
