Re: Stolen Bikes
Mr Steve OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !! where u been buddy ?? here's the main issue with buying out of state, if you don't title it in a state that titles Dirt Bikes "technically" u don't really own it. I have seen insurance companies not pay when bikes were stolen because there was only an MSO, one of my riders is going through this right now because of a bike brought privately with no title they sure took her insurance fee but now they don't wanna buck up and she's not the only one. . secondly you can't trade on a MSO in most states. and if you sell it privately and that person accepts an MSO but tries to sell or trade it the can trace it back to you , make you pay the tax and a possible a fine. i could care less if someone doesn't buy 1 from me, at my prices most of the time i tell my boss not to pay me comission.i like helping people out as does my Boss, and i still sell a ton. what i love is when people are whinning about crappy awards and lame plaques because most dealers stopped sponsoring races. or they get mad because local shops don't wanna "do anything" for them after they bought their bike somewhere else. very few shops bucking up in D6 anymore, We're back as the Title Sponsor for the MDRA and back helping Pagoda as always, Action & ESC are the other 2 still helping out the tracks. but all 3 of us are heavily involved in the sport. i know it's shocking but believe it or not none of us make squat selling Dirt bikes.
