Bruh……Im sitting here in my home, looking crazzzzy, watching T.V and here the distinctive sound whenever money is coming out of my bank account. I froze for a minute and asked myself, what day is this. It can't be the end of the month when bills are due cuz I just paid them already though auto pay. I know time is going by fast, but dang not that fast. So I said to myself did somebody didn’t get paid through auto pay and decide to get paid late. And the funny thing about that is, that distinctive sound came from my Apple Watch/iPad and not through my iPhone. Now that was really strange, cuz it’s the other way around. Ok on my iPhone I access my bank account and see this payment going through that I said when did I purchase something from Microsoft. It took me about a half hour to think back to when I bought something from Microsoft. I scroll through my statement online and did not see anything from Microsoft in the last year or so. Got scared. For real. Hurried up and called the bank and told them I wanted to do a stop payment cuz I have no idea what the heck this is. I thought I was safe, when I use Apple Pay via my phone to pay for everything instead of using my card. WRONG!!!!! I asked the Sista on the phone did they list a telephone number to where I can call and see what’s the Delio. She said mam the only number I see listed is a 455 number and from, history Microsoft only uses either 877/800 number. She told me to not call that number because it’s a scam. ITS GONE BE SOME MO STUFF!!!!! These are my word!!!! I freaking PANIC!!!! She says mam, I need to cancel your card because this appears to be a scam. So stupid me. I said, but what about all of my bills that get paid through this account, (thinking in my mind that I have to call everyone and give them the new number). and she told me, you normally use your checking account information for auto pay. I said yea you right. please cancel it ASAP. I said how in the heck did they get my information, Im very careful when I use my phone to pay for things. Now this is the scaring part. She told me, mam they have ways. She told me she was in Walmart and when she went to use her phone for purchase, she kept getting this message telling her that it was NSF and she needed to press ok to continue or cancel. She said for someone that is not savvy, they would had clicked ok. She told me she kept pressing cancel and the message kept popping up telling her to click ok. She told me what was happening was someone maybe 15 feet away from her trying to access her account. She says when she looked around, she really didn’t know who was doing it because it was high traffic area, it could had been anyone. Because she worked in the Bank, she was familiar with the scam. She told me they normally use this scam in a high traffic area like the mall, Walmart etc. she told me if she had press ok they would had screenshot her card and taken funds out of her account. shook me to my core. For those of you that have android its most common. Be careful. As soon as she cancelled my card Apple Pay immediately deleted it from my phone. Man, this some crazzzzzy stuff. Im like….. can I just do this!!!! Im using cash for now on. I not taking any chances ANYMORE!!!! BE CAREFUL PEOPLE!!!!!
