For what it's worth, I received a phone call my admissions contact at Nova in the end of April who told me that I was highly placed on the wait-list and as of May 6th, I still have not received an official letter from the school telling me that I was rejected. I called my contact and he told me that whether I start the program this year depends on how many accepted candidates fail to accept/pay/send in paper work. If you haven't received an official letter yet, then you're probably in the same position.
For me, I'm assuming that I'm not going this year since even if I were accepted, it would be hard for me to move to Florida with very little notice, but you still have a chance.
Also keep in mind that if you were wait-listed this year and you continue to improve yourself then you will probably get in next year.
