Apparently the "realist" has an inferiority complex. I guess he's tired of being all bad-ass by yelling at babies in a crowded restaurant and slamming doors in the faces of old ladies.
In real life, he gets kicked around by his ex-wife and his boss at the Dairy Queen. Customers are rude to him and his car often breaks down, but no one will stop to give the guy a hand or a ride. On the internet, however, his life is new and exciting! He is a macho special forces warrior - no doubt wearing a firefighter t-shirt that says "I Fight What You Fear" while playing World of Warcraft (but he's never been a firefighter, or anyone important for that matter). And always with a stern word to anyone he can hope to make feel worse than himself. All in the day of the internet cool guy.
Anyway, if you don't get in no problem - it's not ideal, but you will make it if you keep trying. There are a lot of very qualified people, so keep working at it.
