I am also applying to Emory, Nova, and South. I recently found out that I got interviews at Nova and South. I got my bachelor's degree in pre-medical sciences, and then also was considering getting my MPH when I changed my mind and decided to go to AA school. It was a tough decision however, b/c I found public health to be very interesting. I just thought that I would perfer to work with patients in a clinical setting, among other things.
For your recommenders, I would use those who know you best. I used two professors, and a supervisor from the job I worked the entire four years I was in undergraduate school.
What has made you decide not to stay working in the public health field?
