The AA salary is equal to that of CRNAs...but I do not believe that AAs can in Hawaii as of yet. I could be wrong, but I don't remember hearing that as a state we are allowed to work. If you are interested in hiring AAs you must find an interested anesthesiologist and have he/she present it to the state medical board to apply for state licensure. Good Luck!!
