I completed part of med school and did some clinic work. I found that most physicians are focused on other aspects of medicine besides the direct patient concact and interaction. I found the NP's, PA's, AA's, CRNA's to have a more direct contact, and most times, more of a decision making position than a lot of doctors. I enjoyed observing and shadowing in the surgery outpatient clinic when I was in school and decided that AA school was the quickest and most secure way to get to the role I wanted to play in the treatment and healing of patients.
