Hi Ram yes I do and very grateful I really owe it to my Doctors(MDAs)in my department especially on the Liver Team(Transplant)they have taught me so much and I'm still learning every day. That's why It's important for Anesthesia Techs&Technologist to stand up for what's right. It's a huge stepping stone into becoming a Anesthetist(AA-C)with out having to be a nurse.

For those states that do not have school where you can obtain a B.S.,A.S degree and/or certification(Cer.A.T.,Cer.A.T.T.) in Anesthesia Technology I feel there needs to be a in house training(Hospital institution)from the MDAs to pilot and support it. If they want Anesthesia Techs&Technologist to be competent and a value member of the ACT model this is what need to be done no questions ask.

I must say I am very disappointed in my society why?...Because we have two liaison for the support of Anesthesia Techs&Technologist they consist of a ANESTHESIOLOGIST(MDA)and ANESTHETIST(CRNA)which prepare our National written and oral exam test including a PA-C, Professor in Anesthesia Science Education, Sale Representative in Technology(equipment), Cer.ATT and Cer.AT. Meaning where very competent technicians in the ACT model.

I feel there not doing enough to raise the bar and standard for Anesthesia Techs&Technologist across the Nation(board)It will change as the shortage of Anesthesia provider gets worse before It gets better. They need some one who is Multitask clinical and technical skills that's where the Anesthesia Techs&Technologist comes in, they will play a big role in the ACT in the future.

FACT:The AORN now recognized Anesthesia Technologist and Anesthesia Technicians in the O.R. as Multitask skilled competent Allied Health Profession. FACTS don't lie this comes from the President of the AORN.
