This message is for BSN(nurses) and CRNAs who either have no clue or just arrogant. To the fact they don't want to admit that AAs/AA-Cs are very strong and competent anesthetist. Just like CRNAs. I would like to share a story with you about a BSN nurse who went the AA route(Anesthetist program). After reading this story I hope you CRNAs will have a better op ion or more respect for AAs/AA-Cs.

After all when you disrespect and constantly bash the AAa/AA-Cs just remember your disrespecting one of your own peers or people(BSN nurses)that once worked with you in an I.C.U.. Remember they still are an R.N.".

    BO
I am originally from Greensboro, N.C. but now call Atlanta, Ga. home. I have been there about 10 years. I received a bachelor of science in nursing from N.C. A & T State University in 1995. I worked as an intensive care nurse in many areas for about 7 years. I returned to school and received a master of science in nursing with a specialty as an acute care nurse practitioner from Emory University in 2001. Since then I have practiced as a nurse practitioner doing liver transplant and cardiothoracic surgery. I have worked with AAs in every hospital I have practiced. I chose AA over CRNA because I feel I will receive a better education. I chose Nova because of Rob Wagner and his leadership in the AA community.

In closing I would like to say If BSN(nurses)or CRNAs can attend AA school. And both AA-Cs/CRNAs can train or teach both students anesthetist. Whether there an AA-S(student)or SRNA(student). What dose that tell you?. It means that both AA-C/CRNA(Anesthetist) are on equal settings.

It also says that both AA-Cs/CRNAs are strong competent anesthetist. With a Master degree.

    1. ANESTHESIOLOGIST ASSISTANT CERTIFIED ANESTHETIST AA-C-A. M.M.Sc. Master of Medical Science in Anesthesiology. or M.S.A. Master of Science in Anesthesia/Anesthesiology.

2.CERTIFIED REGISTER NURSE ANESTHETIST CRNA. M.S.N. Master of Science in Nursing(Anesthesia) or M.S.A. Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia.

Meaning we as anesthetist AA-Cs/CRNAs should be governed under one law and one anesthesia group. PERIOD. No question ask. I really hope this change a lot of CRNAs negative views on this AA web site. Who keeps coming on here and disrespecting the AA/AA-C profession.

Oh, and please check out this web site down below. By reading this positive story. By clicking on it. Thank you
