The definition of a professional is someone " who makes a living or receive's reimbursement for services rendered" It has and never had anything to do with putting the welfare of society above an an individual's own welfare Black's 5th Collegeate Dictionary. In regard to the money aspect, our jobs (anesthesiologists, crna and aa) are all dependent on economics. So to say that CRNA's are only concerned about money is rubbish at best!!!!! What is needed is excellence in education/continuing education, personal integrity, and striving to do our best. Match these and now you have someting.
