'You can run but you cannot hide.' That's the stupidest sh!& I've ever heard. DD you are just so ignorant, I just have to laugh when you post stuff. You do realize that 90% of the people in this board know exactly what it is that an AA does, right? When you post something that is full of ignorant remarks, we roll our eyes in boredom. AAs go into the profession that they do with the knowledge that they will work with Anesthesiologists. The majority of CRNAs also work with Anesthesiologists. Those that don't want to can go and work in rural areas. That's perfectly fine. If AAs wanted to work in these areas, they would go to nursing school & become CRNAs or go into some other profession. I like working with physicians & I take solice in the fact that if I ever need one there will be one close by. That is my choice to work in that environment. You shouldn't feel so threatened by us. I know this is how you feel; why else would you continue to post here? We are not there to take away jobs, but to fill the gaps that need to be filled. Wages are not going down because of us. In fact, they are continuing to go up. We are growing in number and will continue to expand our geographical range. Get used to it.
