i emailed the florida dept of health division of MQA that licenses health professionals and asked them if there was any info on how many AA licensees there are and if it was possible to track the growth of them.
No response.
I went on gaswork and looked at CRNA openings in florida and looked for positions that said 100% of the time they would be supervised by an MDA. i emailed about 6 large groups and stated i was an AA wannabe and was interested to know if they were considering any AAs for those positions of if they foresaw doing so in the future.
no response.
My question..how do i gauge the growth of utilization of AAs in florida. Does anyone think it is being held back by the more stringent supervisory rules....IE an MDA can only supervise 2 AAs?
