International Willow Collectors has touched the shores of Iceland. I have resecently spoken at length to Svavar Jonatansson who is a presenter for Iceland Public Radio where he presents a weekly show "Time & Place" Svavar's interest in the Willow Pattern started when he began looking at the pattern on a plate from a Churchill set he was given. From that inspiration Svavar is putting together a show for his radio, which I have been pleased to help out with information about the Willow Pattern and the club.

The show should air in the near future and Svavar will let me know in advance so that I can give you the time to tune in. In the meantime I have asked Svavar to check out the local antique malls in Iceland and report back to me first on any interesting finds, he now knows that the Willow Pattern comes in more colors than blue.
