Hi Michelle, many different Japanese companies made willow pattern ware for export from the 1930s-1970s. The marks varied as you described...and some in the 1960s/70s carried manufacturer stickers, which of course were washed off. You still see some of these stickers on pieces. As for value, pretty much all Japan pieces, no matter the mark, will be about the same, except for some collectors where the Occupied Japan mark might be worth a bit more. In recent years the value of Occ Japan willow has fallen more close to the other regular Japan. I hope this helps some...thanks for visiting our site.
