I've had mine that long, and just found out today: English Ironstone Tableware. Here's what I found: "EIT was hand-made by English Artisans in a historic pottery district named Stoke on Trent in Staffordshire, England in the early 1900’s. Imitation companies have found more cost effective ways to machine print similar patterns on dinnerware. Therefore, EIT is no longer in production due to the high costs of producing dinnerware. These items are now collectibles." My dinner plates and cups are marked - but my saucers and dessert plates are unmarked, and even though they are very nearly the same, I wonder if they are also EIT. Can anyone tell me this?
