I wanted to let everyone know that we lost a dear friend on Saturday 2/23. Lowell Fenner passed away after suffering a heart attack and going into a coma. He was 70 years old. Lowell was one of the founding members of the Ohio Willow Society and also IWC. Lowell retired from teaching after he suffered a stroke while having heart surgery 20 years ago. Although he lost his speach after the stroke, Lowell had a way with actions to make up for his lose of words. He has lived in a assisted living facility since then and had attended many conventions since thanks to his dear friends Lucinda and Joe Balmos. Lowell will be sadly missed in the world of willow.
