I too would be very interested in seeing images of the face and backstamps on your plate. It may be a very early example of the Real Old Willow design, before the standard silicon china backstamp appeared.
The 4 after the 9072 would be gilder's number or mark to ensure they got paid as they were all on piece work. These gilders' numbers usually sit under or alightly away from 9072 pattern number.
