We can't give valuations on this site; however, you can look on eBay and on-line sellers. The books written for collectors usually have a higher valuation than actual sales bring. Your set has to considered incomplete with just 3 cups and saucers. 4 would be better. Actually, the hand-painted number 1908 is the pattern number -- not the date. The pattern number indicates that it is pink Mandarin pattern in bone china. That means there is no bridge in the pattern, and no rickshaw (a type of carriage to sit in and be carried by natives.)The Copeland mark you describe was used from about 1883 to 1900. I know it is a lovely set. I would think you would want to keep it.
