Hi, today my mother handed me a bag with several blue willow items in it. She is always handing me something 'she has no room for'. included is a salt and pepper set marked house of blue willow made in japan. there was also 6 divided plated that are very heavy. they have all of the aspects of the blue willow pattern and are marked MADEIN

now i wrote it just as it appears. I am not a collector of anything in particular but i love holding on to things from my very old yankee family. Can anyone help me out? I am not so much interested in the value as much as the story. like is the house of willow the original factory of the willow design? what year/years were these items made? i have looked up and found the grill plates but they have more info in their marks that these do. would appreciate any info...Marcy
