The old standard foods we enjoyed have been changed too. Case in point is Good Foods (Hellman's) mayonnaise. It's what I always used until I found out it had been bought by the Chinese. I stopped buying it. Years later I looked to see who it was owned by, and it had changed to a different country, so I started using it again.

It was still good, but I noticed a difference in taste. I checked again and they started subsisting ingredients for cost. I found this to be true in many items - butter is one.
