It was very stormy here the other night, Pattie. Lots of wind, thunder and lightning, but nary a drop of rain. It's monsoon season here so we just expect it.
The flash floods are so scary, Pattie. We got them whenever we have a stormy season. The ground is so hard from lack of rain and the heat baring down that the rains just can't seep into the earth fast enough. I can remember going out and playing in the foot deep puddles after rains had stopped.
I am having gravel put in my back yard. It was all sandy, but since Spencer is no longer here I decided to have it graveled. That will be happening soon. The gravel will be delivered sometime this morning.
It's gotten a bit cooler the last couple of days; under 100. That's always a relief even though it's still hot. I expect it won't last a week before is triple digits again.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day.
