On Wednesday, I failed to take Spencer to his appointment yesterday. My errands from the day before won out. I'll take him on Friday.

I foolishly went out in 116-degree heat to run around getting things done. I admit that they needed to get done, but I'm just too old for the heat.

I went to the bank, CVS, Post Office then Smith's. I was going to get gas at Smith's but by then I was about done in. I don't normally perspire much but I was drenched. When I got home, I put some perishables away then flopped on the bed. I couldn't even cool off with the A/C and a ceiling fan over me. Nope - not again. I'll do what needs to do one errand at a time.

So - Friday, when I take Spencer to the groomer, I'll get gas before heading home to wait for him.

I even got a little sunburn on my right arm while driving. Can you imagine that? My stops were only about 5 to 10 minutes apart and I got sunburn on my arm. Dummy!
