Good Morning. Never too long...I empathize with you on the heat. My hometown (Moab) gets triple digit temperatures all the time. That's one of the reasons I stayed on the Oregon Coast...our weather is so much milder here. We just have to carry rocks in our pockets so we won't be blown hither and yon with the winds off the Pacific!
When I fist cut my hair in Moab, it was because I woke up with it wrapped around my throat. I think the feeling was much like seaweed wrapped around it. I slept nekkid because it was too hot. I had a little camp trailer I slept in after I was a teenager. It was cooler than the house.
Stay inside except to go where you need.
