Worked at a Stand Down representing the PVA.A Stand Down gives clothing,a meal usually lunch,and offers help and advice to veterans that are homeless or just needing help.Other services are offered and referrals are made for more serious situations.You come away feeling that you helped veterans and their families if only to hand them a free meal and a place to sit and talk.
