One regret I still have about selling our home with 8 acres, I know Jim so loved keeping the grounds cleaned, freshly mowed with the John Deere rider my bro gave him as an early retirement gift. Mr bro was the parts mgr for a large JD dealer for 47 yrs, often # 1 in the nation yearly .Actually, he started sweeping floors after school when he wasn't old enough to be on the payroll but that is another story.

We had over 800' of water front and he kept the tree line really nice and just loved the outdoors. Now in the apt/freestanding house we have, it is all pots on our tiny front and back porch. It is ok as easy to leave on a trip with the neighbors watering the pots. But even with his age now, 86, he is in great shape and could mow if he chose to. At some point we will be relocating to our daughter and their 17 acres and he can make a garden, etc if he so chooses.
