Pattie, it snowed once in 1950 when I was in 1st grade. It just covered the ground. We woke up to it and my mom hurried up and took a picture of my younger brother and I as we'd never been in it or seen it before. She scooped up some and made us snow ice cream. She must have learned that where she grew up in Oklahoma. I don't remember much about it except when we went out for recess at school it had all melted.*sniff*
