I used to make a cake with; I think yellow cake mix. You'd bake it in a bundt pan and you'd put pistachio pudding in the center after it was out of the pan. I think there was pistachio pudding mix in the cake too - oh, I can't remember. It was good though and my girls liked it.

I didn't have a preference about the brand although I probably went with the cheaper one as I was feeding a lot of us.

Boxed cake mix was always made with other stuff too. Chocolate cake with cherry pie filling for example.
