A year ago Christmas Rene' bought me a whole pack of LED flashlights. They are small. I put one in each bedroom and one in a basket in the living room. I keep AA and AAA batteries in my junk drawer. I also keep a couple of candles too, just in case.

I've had to use the flashlights and candles here when the power goes out, usually in triple digit summers. The A/C doesn't work then either, but I just strip to my underwear and fan myself with a hand fan. At night I have my flashlight and candles. If push comes to shove, I'll go out into the car and sit out there with the A/C on.

I have Triple A too and have had to use it several times during the years I've had it. It is worth every penny.
