Prepare 1 room..cover windows with sheets or towels or whatever you have. Have a flashlight..charge your phone..fill your gas tank..have small bills in case cash machines arent working..have food you can eat without heating up..get your prescriptions..plan on being house bound for a few days...be safe..put water bottles in the freezer...you will have water to drink but they will help keep your freezer food cold too in case power goes oyt.
