Interesting that this is showing up as I had just mentioned to Jim on our last trip I saw a bit on TV about removing the pens and pads we find beside the phones in a motel room. We often leave them, the lady speaking said the hope now is that the client with take them along when leaving. The hotel sees it as a minimal cost advertising . Most times we do stick it in a bag but not always. I have noticed that the pens don't have much ink in them as they just don't last very long. I use them for making shopping lists--- yes, the list usually gets left at home--LOL
