I talked with her granddaughter and was informed she is in a hospital.I understood this is a hospital about three hours away from her home and family.She was transferred there from another hospital.Soon she will be released to a rehab facility and be only about an hour from her home.

As you recall a he goes barefoot and apparently stubbed a toe.Having neuropathy she couldn't feel any pain.She got an infection that was septic.That is under control and was taken care of before any infection entered the bone so there is no amputation needed.

She is ready to be transferred to a rehab center before being allowed to return to her home.I am so thankful she is on the mend and okay.

I will share any updates I recieve.I am trying to get an address of the rehab so we can bombard her with well wishes and our love.
