Our tour was the best. We also went to the Smithsonian Museum. I viewed all the coronation gowns of the First Ladies. That's when I started having hip problems and had to give up seeing more of it.

We also visited Mt. Vernon (Washington's home.) I was surprised at how small all the rooms were, but the land is still maintained and grows vegetables. I couldn't see his and Martha's tombs because of my hip. I had to sit until it was time to get back on the bus. Grrrr.

I think, being on a tour made a difference. I don't know if it would be the same now with all the crime, etc.
