My Grandma made fancy Sunday dinners. Mom made a big meal for Sundays. I did too, until we moved back to Oregon in 1980. They got smaller as the kids grew up and moved out. Even holidays became smaller and were either at my daughter's or my son's place.
After Christmas alone last year, I found I can live without all the stuffins.
