Like all of us, I have so many maladies and so far, after being here for a long time, I finally have doctors and NPs I can talk to who will listen. I have great insurance (knock on wood) and don't need referrals unless the doctor requires one. The infusions I have each month costs a fortune. When I was getting them at the hospital it was close to $30k a month. I changed to a cancer center who infuses different problems other than cancer, who does it for about half the cost. Still costly, but I'm sure my insurance company was happy I changed.
