There were troops dressed as the beginning Army, which were mainly farmers and frontiersmen, dressed along with their armor, which included knives or whatever they could get together for battle. and then throughout the years with each battle or war we were in. There was a covered wagon which progressed to jeeps and what is driven in today's Army. It was long, but I really enjoyed it. I love history anyway.
The first general, Washington and the Fife & Drum corps. The parade had troops from all the different branches and from West Point, etc. It was quite a spectacle.
The finale fireworks were spectacular. I would love to have been lying on the grass watching it until the very last one.
I'm glad I watched it. It was great and very patriotic.
