I was 14 when the movie Carousel came to theatres and I absolutely fell in love with Billy Bigalow (Gordon MacRae) until I found out that the actor was married and had 5 kids. As I got older it was Rock Hudson until I found out he was homosexual.

Since I've reached the age of maturity and should be beyond such feelings, when I saw Lord of the Rings it was Orlando Bloom. *sigh* - be still my heart.
