Well, my big weekend is over. My grandson Jake and his mom Rene' came up on Friday night to celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday and my birthday on Monday. Jake left Sunday morning and Rene left yesterday.

We had a lot of fun, and Jake even did some chores I had waiting for someone else to do for me that I couldn't do.

Last year my whole family showed up with the exception of one granddaughter. Everyone did call me this year, so it was nice even though I didn't get to see them. Now the house is quiet, and I have to get used to it all over again. I am so blessed though.
